The more you avoid sugar and refined carbohydrates (which just turn into sugar in your body) the more your body recognizes the natural sweetness in healthy foods like blueberries or even a red bell pepper.
Elliott tried his first raw oyster today and it’s safe to say oysters will join sweet potatoes and maraschino cherries as the only foods he doesn’t like. I’m proud of him for trying it though, and he’s already asking if he can try them again when he’s older.
